As a physiotherapist for over 20 years I have been exposed to many approaches in fitness and rehabilitation. For the past year I have had the good fortune of attending Pilates & Therapeutic Release & Restore sessions with Kathleen. My personal physical experience of the Keller Method of techniques has been quite astounding. Despite my lifelong commitment to fitness, surprisingly my core strength, body awareness and posture have all improved as a result of my training with Kathleen. My chronic neck condition has benefited, as well as my general spinal flexibility and hip girdle strength.

Thank you for bringing The Keller Method to Saskatoon!A number of years ago I survived an accident where I was thrown from a car which rolled on me tossing me into a field.My sternum and back were broken - T4 vertebra crushed and multiple rib fractures. My spine was stabilized with Herrington rods fusing it from T1 to T8.
Over the years, pain management and recovery have been an ongoing process. In spite of using Yogic breathing techniques, I have for the past few years been struggling with breathlessness with exertion or even just when talking.
During the Release - Anterior & Posterior Arm Chains course, as we were working along the thoracic vertebrae, I noticed my breath would catch and stop momentarily. I then experienced releases that resulted in deeper breath with greater ease. After the course I noticed an immediate imporvement in my breath.
A few days later I had a cranial sacral therapy treatment.I informed the therapist of the breath release I’d experienced during the course. As she was working on me, quite spontaneously, my chest expanded with the breath filling the trachea – it felt like a four inch tube filled the core of my body as it expanded and filled with light extending all the way down into the base of my spine!It was amazing and, what is even more amazing is that the benefits are lasting.In order to continue to improve and sustain this function, I continue to work with the therapeutic ball techniques on a regular basis.
